The menu is a delightful celebration of seafood, with standout dishes that echo the passion and expertise of the kitchen. Diners rave about the fresh oysters that melt on the palate, and the seafood salad—a fragrant medley of clams, mussels, squid, and prawns bathed in a delicate olive oil sauce that speaks of Mediterranean summer breezes. The homemade pasta, noted for its vitality and sun-kissed character, is another highlight; particularly the carbonara served here, which intriguingly blends the creamy heartiness of a classic carbonara with the peppery sharpness of Cacio e Pepe. This generous portion not only satisfies hunger but also indulges the senses.
Appetizers such as the porcini mushroom bruschetta stand as an inviting prelude—earthy, richly seasoned mushrooms atop crisp toasted bread provide a sophisticated balance of textures and flavors. To finish, the tiramisu impresses with its harmonious balance of creamy mascarpone and tender ladyfingers, leaving a lingering sweetness that is both comforting and refined.
The dining ambiance at Trattoria Sora Maria is relaxed and charming, enhanced by the scenic outdoor seating that allows guests to bask in the gentle coastal sun. Had the porcini bruschetta, carbonara and tiramisu. Bruschetta was nice, porcini mushrooms were well seasoned. The carbonara was good, felt like a carbonara crossed with a Cacio e Pepe, very generous portion size. Tiramisu was had a nice proportion between the cream and lady finger. All in all would recommend.

We had a lovely experience at Sora Maria. Just a heads-up: although it says they close at 4 PM, the kitchen actually shuts down around 3 PM, and they’re usually closed in the evenings during the winter months. We visited in October and were lucky to sit outside in the sun — it was beautiful and very relaxing. For starters, we had fresh oysters — very good quality — and a green salad, which was also fresh and well-balanced. As mains, we tried the spaghetti alle vongole, which was excellent, and the tonnarelli with seafood, which was a bit on the oily side but still tasty and satisfying. We ended the meal with a classic Italian tiramisu and an espresso, both of which reminded us why we love Italian cuisine so much. Most importantly, our server Miguel was outstanding — friendly, professional, and very attentive.

I had the seafood salad with clams, mussels, squid and prawns it was warm in an olive oil sauce. We each had a glass of Sauvignon. I had an espresso. Total bill 44€

The freshness of the mussels are highlighted by the delicate seasoning. My first time to fully understand the charm of homemade pasta - it’s blessed with life and energy - like it’s kissed by the sun. Portions are very generous.
